The Bay Bridge Boat Show, April 24-27 2008, produced by United States Yacht Shows, Inc. is raising awareness about environmentally conscience efforts towards boating that has made an impact in out Bay and the community. With new technologies and trends making environmentally sound boating possible, it is important to recognize those who have made firm commitments to a cleaner and healthier marine environment.
The Bay Bridge Marina, host of the Bay Bridge Boat Show, has long exceeded the requirements necessary to be designated a "Clean Marina" by the Department of Natural Resources. The marina has adopted many important practices to ensure this designation, including organizing specific maintenance areas, petroleum control, spill prevention plans, and proper sewage handling and waste disposal. These standards can initially be more costly, but the benefits are substantial for the environment and for future financial savings. The Bay Bridge Boat Show, the largest spring boat show in the Mid-Atlantic, is the perfect boat show for the whole family. With over 500 new and brokerage boats, more than 150 boat equipment and accessory vendors, as well as free seminars on cruising, provisioning, diesel safety and more, the Bay Bridge Boat Show offers something for boating enthusiasts of all ages.

America’s First Name in Boat Shows Trades Under New Name
Many thousands of people share nostalgic memories of visits to the annual sail and powerboat shows held in Annapolis since 1970. Long known as the Annapolis Boat Shows, the company that produced the shows originated the concept of displaying boats outdoors and in the water.
Now with the addition of an exciting new event, The Yacht Show at National Harbor, June 5-8 on the Potomac in the Washington, D.C. area, the company is taking on a new identity to better reflect its growth. From now on, the Annapolis Based producer of these shows will be known as the United States Yacht Shows.
The official name of the two Annapolis shows will remain the same, the United States Sailboat Show, held annually over the Columbus Day weekend, the United States Powerboat Show the following week and the Bay Bridge Boat Show, held in late April, but collectively and including any new shows we launch, our company will be know by its new name, United States Yacht Shows, Inc.
